About Us

What we do

We are a not-for-profit voluntary organisation that work to rescue at risk heritage buildings for the benefit of local communities in Merseyside using the following methods:

Advise

We work alongside not-for-profit building owners of at risk properties to advise on all aspects of the heritage regeneration process including assisting with viability and options appraisals, meeting key stakeholders, preparing conservation plans, and advising on potential funding streams.

The Florrie, 2010

Lobby

Where we are unable to step in directly to save a building at risk, we make representations in support of building owners to raise project awareness, keeping it in the public eye until a viable solution to save the building can be found.

The Wellington Rooms, 2018

Facilitate

We are a voluntary organisation with limited resources so we can’t take on every project that crosses our path. If we can’t help directly, then we work to put people in touch with other like-minded organisations who may be able to help when we can’t.

Deliver

We acquire buildings, as a last resort option, acting as developer on a not-for-profit basis, handing over a completed building to an occupier following completion of building works.
